RCI has been online for more than 13 years now, but it is common knowledge that their site has always been problematic. As one who has used, or tried to use, it almost every day during that time, I can say it is almost always something.
I am talking about trying to search with only a deposit credit. In order to see what's available I first have to switch to an All Available search, and then switch back. Some days I don't have to do that and some days I do.
I've asked RCI and they don't have a clue, and I've asked if anyone else has just a Deposit Credit to search with, to see if it works for them, but I guess no one does.

Here's what it does for me. Searching with just the Deposit Credit, on the first page, it shows stuff is available:
USA
Carolinas and the Southeast [4274]
Florida [5099]
Gulf States [1851]
Hawaii [1]
Mid-Atlantic [1122]
Mid-South [2841]
Midwest & Plains [1846]
New England [3680]
Pacific Coast [1931]
Rocky Mountains [2630]
Then, when I open something, say Florida, it says:
0 Resorts (0 available units)
Then, when I switch that page to All Available, it says:
2658 Resorts (168061 available units)
Then when I switch back to just my deposit, it says:
1939 Resorts (92208 available units)
(55% of what's in the SpaceBank can be obtained with 11)
Then, when I go through the two steps to see just Florida, it says:
122 Resorts (5096 available units)
And now I can see them all.
That's the process to be able to search with my Deposit Credit.

I can't see anything with my deposit credit, even following the way JLB does it....Of course that might have to do with my Deposit Credit only being 2 TPU
I spoke with RCI this morning and they told me that you cannot search for an exchange without anything banked -- either a deposit or points left over from a deposit. You must have SOMETHING deposited.
I have only one deposit credit left and it expires the end of March -- which is why they say I can only search for exchanges of any point value through to the end of March.
Does this hold true for those of you that are searching using your one deposit credit? Can you only search for the period that your one deposit credit is valid through?
For the record, I think I got the most horrible RCI rep ever this morning. He was the most argumentative agent I've ever come across. I finally told him that I wanted another agent just because he was an argumentative know-it-all!
I called back and got a new rep who gave me the same information (that I couldn't search beyond March), but he wasn't an a**hole about it! grrrrrrrr

I have tried that and no matter what I do, I can not see a single thing in any month beyond the end of March -- which is when my deposit credit expires.

Mine is only 1 TPU but a couple of weeks ago, I could see "ALL AVAILABLE EXCHANGES" through to next year. Now I can only see "ALL AVAILABLE" through to the end of March 2012 -- which is when my 1 TPU expires.

But do you also have another week(s) on deposit? Or do you just have this one credit in your account and nothing else?
Only deposit credits, no full weeks. And it worked even when all I had was a 2-point deposit credit. The expiration dates of the farthest-away deposit credits are quite far off, in 2014, I think.

Maybe that's why you could do it then, because your TPU credits were not ready to expire -- my one TPU credit is ... who knows
I don't even know WHY I am trying to figure this out. It just bugs me that I could do one thing a few weeks ago and I can't do it now. And, to make it worse, the RCI weenie that I spoke with this morning kept telling me that I COULDN'T do it before.
Thanks everyone!

One day you could, the next day you couldn't.

My personal experience and understanding has always been that you can only see as far out until either the expiration of your farthest out deposit OR the expiration of your membership, whichever is ealier. In your case, end of March.
The weenie (love that term) was right in that you shouldn't have been able to see more a few weeks ago. But we know that you probably did! Alot of us have seen things that we 'shouldn't have' or were there for only a few minutes before disappearing forever.
