I like RCI points... I managed to get to the Quarter House in New Orleans for New Years and the Sugar Bowl. Lucked up on that about 2 months ago. I can't wait to go.

I saw a 2 bedroom Seapointe, biennial not RCI points for an out the door price of $299.00. I want that instead of what I have.

So, I have listed my Seapointe/RCI points, but not really sure that I care if it sells or not. A broker contacted me and said she might have some people interested, but that I'd have to give them my RCI points account. I have no idea what that means. I was thinking if it sold, I'd transfer the RCI points to the new owner and not give them my account, which still hasn't been paid for.

If this hangs around longer, some day I'll read it.

Of course, if you haven't been reading it yet, it will be too long to read.

I almost have everything lined up. My assumption is that since the RCI points wasn't paid, my weeks didn't get attached to it. On WM owners, I learned that I could pay my points membership and attach my weeks account to it and attach my WM to the weeks. So, it would be like having 3 different RCI booking option for one fee.

I talked to 3 RCI reps yesterday who all wanted to help me, but none of them were able to. I finally called GPR owner services. The rep there said that she would call RCI and have them set everything up and she would issue a refund for the $59. that I already paid in my annual dues for RCI.

The hard thing is that my RCI points account shows no balance due until I book a vacation. So, there has been no way for me to pay the RCI membership fee. This morning, I finally booked a week at WM Anaheim on RCI points so that I could pay the dang membership fee. Hopefully, now that it is paid, I can get the weeks account that I should have already had and then add my WM membership to that.

Today, I got an email from RCI welcoming me to RCI weeks. A member # would have been nice. I guess I will wait a few more days and see if they issue me one. Hard to set up account without a member number.
