Sheraton Vistana adds 1-in-4 rule

Doing some random searching today, and saw that Vistana has added a 1-in-N block:

1 in 4 year rule effective 9/1/12 for both 0450 and V450.

Edited to add: it looks like it is per-resort, not group. So, if you've stayed at 0450, you can still stay at V450, and vice versa, unless they just haven't programmed the block for V450 yet.

1 in 4 and similar rules hurt trading power of members. Developer controlled resorts are the only ones that do that and shows that developers do not care about their members.

Try as they may they have got nothing on the Mouse.
It's a nice place but they obviously are thinking a little too high about themselves here with this 1 in 4 thing.

Absolutely. It's also worth noting that, prior to the 1-in-4, Vistana instead had a heavy "thumb on the scales" compared to the other "better" Orlando-area resorts; it was quite a bit higher to exchange into than nearly everything but DVC. The thumb might still be there a little bit, but seems to be less "heavy" now that the 1-in-4 is in place.

Edited to add: looks like it is all of the Sheratons in RCI.
