Summer 2014 reminder for RCI points owners

Summer RCI points inventory for next year is nearing the 10 month mark. Mid-June will be available next Wednesday. If there is a points resort you want for next summer you should be able to calculate the date it will show up and grab it just after midnight on the east coast on that day. If it's not there then, it probably won't be there at all.

And if you're using the Home Group benefit (one of mine is VRI) remember to take advantage of the 11 month advance reservations. I have to wait 1 more week to get the July reservation I want.

I have a VRI resort but I'm currently not registered with RCI.

Can you give me the Reader's Digest condensed version of the Home Group benefit?

To my knowledge, the Home Group benefit is only in RCI Points, not Weeks.

A couple examples for Home Group: I own at a resort managed by VRI... they manage 70+ other resorts. I also own a resort managed by Daily Management Resorts, which manages approx. 20 resorts. I am able to check availability thru RCI Points and book at other VRI or Daily Management resorts 11 months in advance (one month before the rest of the RCI Points members).

I am able to reserve at one of my Home Resorts 12 months in advance (any available date, not just the week I own.)

I'm a HGVC owner and it's the opposite with RCI.

Everyone sees the new stuff before we can.
