Problem

I had some TPU's I needed to use by January, so after much debating and deciding, we decided to go to Williamsburg in October. (Only 3 hours away, usually lots of availability). I placed a Powhatan unit on hold, but later saw a Greensprings. This morning I confirmed the Greensprings and released the Powhatan unit. Checked my account and that is what it showed. (No unit on hold and Greensprings confirmed). Got email from RCI saying I had a confirmed unit at Greenspringss. About an hour later went back into my account and it showed Powhatan on hold and NO Greensprings. RCI call in is closed today. I used online chat and was told things are strange on Sunday, but it will get corrected later. Well it is later and still no Greensprings and Powhatan still on hold.

What is maddening, I could have gotten a Greensprings (mine or another one) after chat, but now it is gone.

What do you think, will I get my Greensprings, or am I out of luck?

Thanks Jim. Just checked RCI and later did happen. All is well; Greensprings confirmed and no Powhatan. All the stress for nothing.

I didn't quote him exactly. What he actually said was "On Sundays we can have issues with the Vacation Plans box showing correctly, it can take a few hours to update successfully."

Not a good way to do business. I did show correctly immediately, then changed back to the way it was before.

Latest thing from RCI. I got an email that my Ongoing Search was cancelled. I had no ongoing search. I had a unit on hold that got cancelled when I used the deposit to book another week. Evidentially they got their email messed up. I'm losing faith in them quickly.

That one happens all the time, not to worry. It's like reading directions translated from another language, the meanings are only approximate.
