Points vs TPU disparity

I was just looking at some rooms at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and have both a Weeks and Points account.

Can anyone tell me why I find such disparity in translating between the two options?

For example:
a 1BR checking anytime in May is 27 TPU

whereas

a 1BR checking in May 2, 4, 8 or 11 is 33500 pts
a 1BR checking in May 16 or 18 is 44500 pts
a 1BR checking in May 25 is 56000 pts

I understand that the weeks right around Memorial Day are higher demand, and thus more points, but since the TPUs are not any different, I would be better off booking my May 25 week using TPU and not points.

Outside of the RCi strangeness, the best deal depends on the math. If the mf's for 27 TPU's is higher than the mf's for 56K points, then it would make more sense to us points.
