Well I'm glad you at least got the Houses. Since it's now a free stay at somewhere as close as you might be able to get to your original, I agree it's tough to complain, but the fact that they engage in that practice at all is really f'd up.

You could tell them you promise to be REALLY neat and tidy during your stay….and you wouldn't mind a few people walking thru each day !

At this point, just check your account and make sure you have all your confirmations, and that any deposits and ongoing searches are still there.

Just checked... I was hoping to find a confirmation that I didn't make. Nope.

                lol
I would settle for having search results sort in date order the way they used to. what a PIA.

As far as I can tell, the RCI site for Wyndham points is still down. I checked yesterday and again minutes ago, just get Error 404.

They're working down. Tomorrow they work on Error 403.

I'm able to access RCI through the Wyndham portal at this time.

where it goes when I click the portal button: https://b2b.rci.com/RCI/login/LoginC...58ad4f3ba2cefe

                        Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

                        10.4.5 404 Not Found

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

It's possible your browser isn't checking for an updated page, and is reloading a stored one from your computer. Do you use internet explorer? If so, check out these instructions .

Thanks, Scott. I also tried it on Chrome, to no avail. I'll try your settings suggestion. Hope it works!

If you need any help, I'm used to dealing with the folks that handle the problem people. In 1999, I was even told they have a department for people like me.
