They gave me a unit for the same date at the Houses of Summer Bay. Still nice, but I was really looking forward to the Reserve. They also refunded my exchange fee and points, so I can't complain too much. Just really disappointed.
This is getting to be more common. It is a big reason for my cancellation of my RCI membership.

Ah, c'mon. Timesharing is great and RCI is even better.

Got a phone call from RCI on my mobile today to remind me that my membership was expiring in June. They told me they had a membership renewal special just for me and they didn't know how long it would last so I should buy it NOW. It was buy 3 yrs for the price of 2, and 5yrs for the price of 3. I would actually get 2 years absolutely free if I paid for a 3 yr renewal.
Told him that was the regular price and he insisted it was a special. Reiterated that it was indeed the regular price and I can renew online any time for that price. Said I might consider renewing if they had a real special because I didn't think their current prices were good value for money for me. He told me he'll get someone else to call me back. Bleh. Stop wasting my time RCI!

What price did you see for three years?

For my simple purposes, I can only see two changes:

            1. There's an extra step at login. My start page used to have the login information already there. Now I have to go to a drop-down to get it.

            2. Once I get to where I wanna be, Southern Gulf Coastal for January, 2015, and I hit the back browser button to be able to select January, 2016, it goes back several pages instead of just one. It goes all the way back to the first results page. From there I then have to select Florida, and then drop down to select January, 2016. I don't think they intended that clicking the back browser button would take it back further than the last page, but it does.

So what did you expect, haven't you learned anything from almost two decades of the predictable post fix glitches ?

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
Update: I'm now able to access the website, but only after being transferred to RCI tech support via Wyndham. The guy tried one little fix and I was in. Assured me it won't happen again and the fix was easier than he expected. Told me it wasn't related to my computer, but some glitches showing up on individual accounts. I'd tried everything suggested, and even tried computers never used to access those sites before, just to be sure.
