After posting the above, I went back to RCI. This time when I logged in, it had not defaulted to "Exchanges" like it always does. It had defaulted to:

Exchange~ Extra Vacation and Last Call

& there were a few.

Sure, so you could be there for each day's news story. This week it has been murder, drugs, carjacking, neglected roads, and another effort to incorporate. Sorta like a combination of Florida and Mexico.

Although, the abandoned Admiral Lehigh Golf Club has been made into a County Eco Park.

Actually, it hasn't even been available for the next two Januarys.

Nothing in II, either. Well, there are a few for late March in Orlando, but that's it.


It's been a really cold, miserable winter for many, and that most likely has a lot to do with lack of availability in Florida.

The news has been saying it is Snowbirdier than usual.

Three deposits came and went yesterday.

It reminds me of the many timeshare owners I've met over the years who say stuff like, "I would call RCI and they would never have anything," when they would call at the last minute for popular times and destinations.

Although it is true that in some cases RCI seldom has stuff they once did , even when they did/do one had/has to put a little effort into getting it.

Some owners just take the, "You can go anywhere, any time," too literal.

Actually, now that I think about it, you can go anywhere, any time. You just may not have a place to stay when you get there.

Funny, Lehigh is ranked slightly above Tropical Sands and Lahaina Inn, although 46th out of 64 isn't exactly noteworthy.
