    Hello,

    Thank you for your e-mail.

We have tested the "How you got here" filters and they appear to be
functioning properly. To get back to your previous results, simply
click the "X" next to the sub-region you wish to remove from your
search. This will give you the results for the search under the
broader region that appeared above the sub-region.

We are happy to hear that using the back button has not caused issues
for you when using the site in the past. However, there have been a
number of members that have reported problems in the past, as well as
the present, when using the back button to navigate the site. That is
why when a member states that they have been utilizing the back button
on their browser, we advise against it.

    Kind Regards,

    - - - - - -

So, I ask, all you experienced navigators of the World Wide Web, when you "click" on something, what normally happens?

The back browser button still does not work properly.
Maybe just another quirk, or maybe they got around to removing the 20 dots.

When logging in through the HGVC/RCI portal, does anyone else get an error when trying to view all OGS? I get the below message when trying to view all of my OGS. I can't see or modify any of my OGS...

CEWEB00 : Web error occurred while rendering the page - NullPointerException

Well, what normally happens when you click on something is you go there.

On that lefthand side, you click on stuff to get where you want to go, but in the How You Got Here section, clicking on something makes it go away, takes you back one step.

          That's confusing.

On top of that, that's what the back browser does. Only some financial sites disarm the back browser. It worked on RCI until the last tinkering session.

Why not just design your website to work the way the entire rest of the Internet works?

The new way of listing available resorts, as pins on a map rather than a list of the actual resorts

            REALLY SUCKS.

            Different is not always better.

You just have to click on the tab to the left to get a list rather than a map.

Well, now the map is not there and the list of resorts is back, without clicking anything.

Is anyone here both Weeks and Points?

If so, do you have different passwords for each?

I'm asking because it seems strange that the site does not remember which you are, that have to select Weeks or Points.

                      Okey dokey.

So when you log in, does it recognize the login to be Weeks or Points, or do you have to select?

I just think it's kinda retarded that we are only Weeks, it should know that, but I still have to select.

Well, anyway, I don't understand why it can't remember if you are in Weeks or Points, why you have to select one when you log on.

But we don't, and there's no reason for it not to know that.

We recommend not using the "Back" button on your browser. Based on
member feedback, when using the back button on our website, errors may
occur or information may be displayed incorrectly. Our website is not
intentionally set up to cause errors when using the back button on your
browser. However, because the information regarding availability on
our website is real time, using the back button causes errors as it is
trying to pull old information. We regret any inconvenience this may
                                cause you.

The 20 dots that appear in the password field should disappear once you
click on the password field to enter the password.

                                Kind Regards,

So, are we to conclude that it did not work in realtime before, for the 16-17 years that the back button worked just fine?

& how do you get to the last page viewed, say to just change the subregion?
                                - - - - - -
Also, just curious, does anyone have the same username in both Weeks and Points? If not, if it can "remember" the username, why not Weeks or Points? If so, never mind.
I just noticed this morning that the Back browser button is working normally, like on real websites. When you click it, it goes back one page.

                                Wow! How innovative.

I'm not sure how long it's been that way because I have been using the unique-to-RCI method of going back, by clicking on whatever it is I want to eliminate from the search, like "January, 2016" or "Southern Gulf Coastal", which also takes it back to wherever it should go when you eliminate whatever you eliminate, not necessarily just one page.

So, for now, there appears to be two methods of going back.
