Wyndham is just as creative as Cendant was in making it hard to figure out what they did/are doing:

In 2012, 30% of global timeshare owners (or 6.0 million) were members of
vacation exchange companies and completed approximately 2.9 million exchanges.

Through our vacation exchange business, RCI, we have relationships with almost 4,500 vacation ownership resorts in over
100 countries. We have 3.7 million vacation exchange members and generally retain nearly 90% of such members each year.

Good luck trying to figure out how many exchange they did, but if all exchanges for the year were through RCI, which they are not, 78% of RCI members did an exchange.

Here's 10 years ago:

In 2001, more than 2.1 million exchanges were booked through RCI.

II is now equally secretive about how many exchanges they do each, so do your own guesstimate and subtract that from the 2.9 million, to get RCI's current number, then decide for yourself if it is less than the 2.1 million of 10 years ago.

Is it just me, or does anyone else remember the numbers to be much higher 15 years ago? I'm thinking like in the 4 million range.
