      When I closed out, and it went to a "public" page, it said RCI has 3.8 members. Isn't that down?

      Their SEC filing (I think) says they retain 85% of their members, so for the cup-half-empty folks, that means they lose 600,000 members a year.

          RCI is terrible. Wyndham is just as bad. i own at Wyndham Oceanside Pier which is a nice place. Got resale pennies on the dollar. Now they were supposed to be paying my RCI dues for the last seven years or so. They didn't. So it is expiring this year. I had contacted them several times to ask if they were paying. They kept saying they did. Then I found out they were paying someone else membership under my account number? So the way they fixed it was paying for another year but it does not show up in my account until it expires. They still owe me for seven years. Not worth the fight really. I hate RCI and only use as a necessary evil.

            Ok I am trying to get on top of all this timeshare business to salvage what I have pretty much had to ignore. Another thing I just found out sucks with RCI. They changed the combined deposits to one year trading window instead of two. So more money less value. And I just now found out my Wyndham account cannot be combined with my weeks account. oil and water they say. So I am pretty much done with my regular RCI weeks account after I use my combined deposit.

                        Someone take it and let's find out.

                        I happened to notice it because our last trade into OLCC, which is our last trade into OLCC, was a 3-bedroom Christmas Week. That was very rare, and since we did it even-up, before faux points, even more so. So, it was some time ago, when we could actually get stuff we might want.

                        We took DW's extended fam, including my MIL. 10 I believe. That number would be much greater today.
