      We have.

The way every here talks, they have, too.
Yes, it appears they need deposits.
      We are NOT depositing either.
I go with the smaller exchange companies. They are personal, knowledgeable and nicer.

I'm getting the email with the " Pro Level Rewards" offer if I deposit between April 17 and June 30th. They are giving 25% off the RCI exchange fee, 25% off of some extra vacations and $25 off the next RCI annual subscription. There is other stuff that doesn't really interest me yet so I might do this.

RCI doesn't call me. Neither does II. Neither does SFX . If they did I wouldn't know unless they left a message anyway.

That's a new and different approach that we received yesterday for the first time. As you say, there is "other stuff", and, actually, all the stuff, that doesn't interest me. What would have interested me/us, at a turning point back in time, is if they would still have the stuff they apparently began to rent instead, or if they continued to provide similar trading power when they converted Weeks to Faux Points.

But, one would have to giveadamn to be interested now.

I do hang on for their LCs for friends and relatives.

What were we talking about? Oh yeah. RCI desperate for deposits. Karma's a bitch.

What small exchange companies do you like ? Im not sure if SFX is small but I have used them before and it was the way I like it, easy.

I used Trading Places Maui for our Maui week. They don't have a huge inventory, they deal primarily with Maui Hill, and other Hawaii resorts, but they are wonderful to do business with. We have free membership since we own at Maui Hill. They don't charge you until they match your request.

Some companies are friendly in the beginning, when they're struggling to make an idea work. I'm sure when Jon and Christel were trying to match up exchanges using index cards they were tickled when they could, and they appreciated everyone who gave them a chance.

But, then, things got ugly between the two of them, and more ugly when ugly Cendant gave Christel her Golden Parachute.

Sometimes folks remember where they came from, and appreciate those who helped them to get where they got, and sometimes they don't.

RCI could suddenly turn a new leaf, and try to right all their wrongs, but I doubt it would make any difference now.

Trading Places Maui has been friendly in the 30 years we've been using them.

And sometimes they're just basically good folks to start with and maintain those qualities.

Pretty much like most of your multiple posts on a topic.

Have another cup of coffee, and enjoy your day.

Back to the OP, what's the odds that RCI will be buying deposits next?

I don't drink coffee at 10 PM. The odds are are next to nothing for RCI buying deposits, but much higher for your making another tiresome and unnecessary post on this topic.
