Recieved a phone call from RCi cruises,offering a special.....
7 night cruise for 2 people inside cabin plus 7 nights in a resort for US$2295.00 to be used by2008.allmajor cruise lines listed,Caribean ,Alaska,Hawaii,etc etc.
anybody else getting the offer of course they wanted answers pronto they offer terms plus 24 hours to decide,anybody else heard about this /any advice comments ? Thanks.

No, I haven't gotten the offer, and if I did I would laugh out loud! I can get an inside cabin for anywhere from $499 to $899 per person and pick up a week at most resorts for max of $700...I doubt that RCI would like to top that combo.

Also, listen to the radio commercials. I could not believe my ears what they were offering our cruise for on the radio for last minute booking. It was about 1/3 of the price of what we were paying for our TUG cruise but it didn't say what cabin you were getting for this price. It may have been the very worst of all cabins but who cares if you are only sleeping there late at night. The meals and entertainment are the same for everyone!

Our cabin was midship so no movement at all and it had a balcony too. What a nice experience this cruise was for us.

Got the same offer last night. Told the guy that i "might" be interested IF i really can go at any resorts i want and any cruise i want and not being told that there wont be any availability for what i want like what they are doing with their exchange... When i told the guy i was well inform about what RCI is doing by renting out weeks that have been deposit instead or putting them in a space bank for the owners and that is was member of TUG and timeshareforum he told me... "I hear ya" Guess he knew he could not find another fish.... He didnt denied at all the RCI behavior of renting out deposit...
