I believe it is 9/7 that it goes to $164 in the US. Not sure about international.

Sheesh. One of my resorts only has an MF of $247.50. At the way things are going, it will soon cost me more to exchange a week at that resort than to own it.

I believe the rep told me Sept. 10th. it goes to $164 domestic and is $189 for international.

It's already (or is it still?) $189 for a foreign exchange. That's what I was charged to initiate a search last week.

The new fees as of Sept 10th will be the domestic fee is $164, International $199 and cancelation fee $119!

Sorry, $189 was the rate as of Oct of 05 for intern'l. It's going up to $194. Yikes! I am continuing to get good trades or I would have to rethink using them as much as I do. I do belong to 3 other exchanges. Some of the exchanges I get really surprise me considering all of the rentals they seem to be doing, and the fact that we look for such specific resorts. When I stop getting these exchanges I will leave them but until then....

So, as an outsider that never joined RCI I get the idea that the usefullness of joining is likely not so useful anymore?

ummmm I expected more than I probably should have this time around and I'm miffed and ready to try some other options.


In all fairness I have gotten some SUPER exchanges with surprising deposits for many years. Can't complain about my most rescent trades to NJ Shore summer, Ocean City. MD summer, OBX summer, england summer. BUT I am not going anywhere for Easter break next year and I have been searching with a tiger for almost 18 months.

Is it worth joining?

Depends on what you want and when you want it.
