  • RCI - No Record My Confirmation

I pulled out my RCI confirmation form/letter for Las Vegas next year and called RCI (Fairfield desk) to cancel the reservation. (I see from threads that August is too hot).

Well they insist there is no record of the reservation, not cancelled, just no record. So where did the deposited week go, where did the exchange fee go.

I was in a rush and did not have time to debate, I will call them back later and see what a supervisor has to say.

If you get this week through a generic FF deposit, there is no confirmation whatsoever. But they should have record, and since you say you call RCI FF desk, I think they should know. Just to double check, are you call 1-800-572-0931?

All of my RCI exchanges were made with generic FF deposits. I have confirmation form letters for all of them, with exchange confirmation numbers on the forms. I would not be so bold as to buy airline tickets without a confirmation number of some sort. I learned long ago in Paris at 4am go nowhere without a confirmation, and then still check, and check again, and finally FAX the hotel confirming your arrival time.

When I called they could find record of only two, the third could not be found.

Yes a called the FF desk 800 number, and yes they answered as the FF desk.

Why not mail your copy of the confirmation letter to RCI.

Or scan it and email it to feedback@rci.com . I've had generally good luck with them resolving odd problems.
