  • RCI Extra Vacations

Can the extra vacations be used as nightly stays as well as weekly?

    The RCI website states:

...As an RCI subscribing member, you've got access to the condo-style timeshare vacations you're used to-at reasonable prices. You don't have to use your exchange or RCI Points® to stay for a few nights or a whole week at popular resort destinations around the world.

I know about Nightly stays section of RCI but those require using my FF points.

When I pick a resort in the Extra Vacation area and check the available units it gives you a nightly rate and a weekly rate. When you click on confirm or hold the only option that comes up for payment is the weekly rate.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Are they saying you can stay as few nights as you want, but you are still paying for the entire week?

    Thanks, David

RCI does have a nightly stay program. The phone number is on the website and featured often in their Endless Vacation magazine. The couple of times I inquired, I could get something cheaper elsewhere, but it is an option.
