What are my chances for Italy in Nov 2007?

Hi All,

I am new to TSing and RCI.. I wanted to know if anyone could let me know what my chances are for getting a week in Italy through RCI for November 2007 - I would like to go from Nov. 12 - 26... however, I believe that RCI blacks out Thanksgiving week - so I would be trying for the first week (and see if I can get the second through SFX or something else).

I would be trading from Hacienda del Mar in Cabo San Lucas Mexico...

Please let me know your thoughts!

Since you are a posting member you should be able to see The exchange opportunity boards. Post in the the 2 forums <Rci and Sfx that you are looking for Italy in Nov. Our team will let you know when they see it on line. You will have to check back here daily to see if they have found it.

Here's what I can see it Italy/mainland for November. I am not familiar with the resorts/quality/location, but they are standard resorts, not Gold Crown. Maybe someone else can help with that and do another search with a week more like yours, too. I am looking with a SoCal summer week.

Unfortunately, RCI will not give you a reliable opinion about your chances of getting what you want ahead of time and won't let you search before depositing your week.

I would suggest you also check DAEs inventory, or do an ongoing search with them, you won't have to give up your week unless they find what you are looking for. SFX will also allow you to do a 'request first,' but you'd have to join as a Platinum member (not free, but not too costly, either).

If you are looking for alternate locations not far from Italy, Consider Oblestrafion Germany(SP), Austria or the Greek Islands. From Austria and Germany, Italy is 2-3 hours drive. Venice and Millon is doable.
