    Hello,

    Thank you for your e-mail.

An RCI membership is a separate legal asset from the timeshare itself.
RCI Weeks memberships may contain up to two names and one mailing address.

In an attempt to further increase our ability to provide innovative
customer service, RCI is now offering members a Partial Guest Pass. The
Partial Guest Pass allows the guest access to Extra Vacations as needed
without requiring member authorization each time. Guests may also
access members' one-for-one exchanges but only after the member
authorizes the use of a specific deposit. Specifically, members must
still call to authorize a guest to use a deposited week.

The Partial Guest Pass is offered in both five and ten-year increments.
    A five-year Partial Guest Pass is $149 USD/$185 CD. A ten-year Partial
Guest Pass is $249 USD/$308 CD. By purchasing a Partial Guest Pass,
there is no need to charge the $59 USD/$73 CD Guest Certificate fee
every time a confirmation is made for the guest designated on the
Partial Guest Pass, and transactions are unlimited. A separate Partial
Guest Pass must be purchased for each guest. Please note there are no
spousal privileges. Although Partial Guest Passes may be cancelled by
the member, this program does not offer refunds.

Well Mr. JBL, it loks like you are right and I am wrong again. For some strange reason , RCI has allowed me to add my daughter to my points account. She has vacationed several times with her family without any hassle and no guest certificate. Because her name has been added to my account, her name is automatically included on every reservation made using ths account. Even stranger that RCI recently told me that I could aso add her to my weeks account -a spearate account from the one that comes with my point account. When dealing with RCI one needs to word the question very precisely.

Just another tidbit Mr. JLB, I am the one who first posted (I believe on TUG) about the merging of Polo Tower into the present system and you also knew better then because you had some inside information. I did not have any inside information just a conversation with the people who worked there. I was having a problem with a new resale purchase and spent some time in their office on the second floor. I never bothered responding then but this time people need to know that there are ways around guest certificates. But, some people may not want to give others access to their account the way I did to my daughter.

      I'm more confused than normal.

First, cuz my identity changes so much.

Second, because what I posted agrees totally with you adding your daughter to your RCI account. It did not say you could not do so on Points accounts.

I surmise it mentioned Weeks cuz that's what I am.

      Me, inside information!?

      What's TUG?
