As many times as I have cautioned against letting a Guide do anything with your RCI account, I should have known better.
I called this morning to check what unit was available at a resort I saw on-line.
I got Gus the Guide, an obviously eager young guy just bursting at the seams to be helpful.
After he checked to resort to see what unit was available, and it was one I did not want, he asked if he could help me find what I wanted. If you have read any of my SW Florida in January thread, you know the obvious answer is, "Nope."
But I found myself saying yes, and then telling him what was available, or not available, as we both searched simultaneously. he got a lesson in Florida Gulf resort, like when he suggested something at St. Pete Beach. Like I already knew, nothing we wanted was available.
Then, because we had to, he got me to extend our membership.
Everything was OK until I went to do a search a little while ago for the Morrit's thread. My good trader was gone!
I called and good ole Gus the Guide had forgotten to undo his search. I had an ongoing search for Longboat Key.
I got the week back and it does not seem to be damaged.
