I had posted similar information in the Travel & Timeshare Deals forum yesterday. Apparently the reference number is unique to the RCI account holder, because my reference number is different from yours. I'm not sure if it makes a difference when calling in, but thought I'd pass it on in case it does.

Well you definitely need it when you call, otw the VGs have no idea what you're talking about.

There was a typo in my offer, the VG said it couldn't be used for 12/29 checkin even though the email said it could. Not that there was any inventory for that week anyway.

Unfortunately another useless misleading RCI promo. I received this email too and assumed all Extra Vaca's between those dates would be redeuced to $250, so put one on hold and called. Not - only the most excess inventory qualifies, of the kind they include in One + One. Oh well!
