  • Confused with RCI site

When I click on the tab that says DEPOSIT YOUR WEEK-- It shows I have three weeks to deposit. With a start date of 11/9/07.

When I click on the tab that says EXCHANGE YOUR WEEK -- It shows I have one unit to exchange with a start date of 11/10/06.

I have booked one week for next year. I have deposited one week (which I assume is the EXCHANGE YOUR WEEK) So shouldn't I have one week somewhere not three weeks..

I bought an every other year (even) lock out unit. which gives me 3 weeks every other year....
I am soo confused-- and I'm not sure why!! But I swear the website used to look different!
Any help to clue me in would be great!

You are correct, the Exchange Your Week is the one you deposited. RCI then puts a few years in the 'deposit your week' section; they do not verify whether it is actually eligible for deposit until you actually deposit it. So you will know not to deposit the year you don't own. Once you deposit it, it will be marked as 'pending verification from your resort,' and won't be eligible for exchange until your resort clears the week (if there is an exchange you want in the meantime, you can get a VG to hold it for you pending clearance of your deposit).

    Hope this helps.
