We have still not received Exchange Confirmations throught he mail for exhanges we confirmed 10/2 and 11/9. I know I have notified Feedback at least once about it.

On our point, we have a cluster of mail boxes on the same stand. We switched to a PO Box in 2005 when one of the OFs put stuff in our box.

We have not opened that mail box since.

RCI did have a tough time getting our address changed, something about using too many lines. We did finally get the new wish book.

I heard from Feedback and in our case it is because they are still mailing to our street address, a year-and-a-half after we got a PO Box.

Some of the folks we do business with updated our address from the notices that the Postal Service sent and some did not. I have contacted the ones that did not, including RCI.

I recall that the Guide had problems changing our address because their format was not allowing all the information they want to use. As I recall, they only have four lines and they waste the bottom line with USA, so they could not include both our street addresses and our PO Box.

So it appears that some departments at RCI got it changed and some did not, further evidence that it is prudent to follow up.

Here is why it is frustrating to deal with RCI. You ask a question and then they take the time to reply, but don't answer the question. They just restate what you already know, what you stated in your question:

          Me:

Is there a reason why our mailing address is not shown on the account
information online, or a way to change it?

          Them:

          Hello,

          Thank you for your e-mail.

You are correct; the mailing address does not show online. The only
personal information a member can change online is their e-mail address,
          Password or "greeting."

Jim, This sounds like the email was scanned electronically and responded to automatically....if this is done, non-sequitir emails are very likely. They have key words which match then produce a form email response...
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

The Duplicate Exchange Confirmations arrived this week. I know that means that some were sent, but were returned as undeliverable because the forwarding order from our street address to our PO Box has expired.

Sure, our little post office knows us and could have just put them in our PO Box, but they had already been doing that for a year-and-a-half, sending notices to those who have sent us mail. I guess they have to draw the line somewhere and quit sending those notices.

Yes, they were able to change our address by dropping USA from the bottom line, one line too many, just as I had remembered a Guide doing some time last year. Just so I know I am not imagining that, I notice that the Confirmation for an exchange I made last July made it to us, with the corrected address.

Then two for subsequent exchanges did not make it because they reverted to the old address.

                  ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Our Postmistress has a little Sunfire like ours, but don't know if that is what she drives to the brink. I've been to the brink several times the last couple of years and have never seen her there.

The retired Postmaster was at the PO when I went there yesterday and he is still driving his white Crown Vic. I suppose he could drive it to the brink, but I don't believe he ever has. He doesn't strike me as the type of person who has ever been to the brink and back.

They all know my neighbors, so they cut me some slack.

                          I confirmed another exchange yesterday.

When I went online to print the confirmation, guess which address they have listed?

Why not have the confirmation emailed to you? I never had problems with the electronic confirmation for check-in.

My problem is not in getting a confirmation. As I've said, I can do that online.

My problem is in getting RCI to correct our mailing address, and keep it corrected.

I have never known RCI to email Exchange Confirmations. They have never asked if I wanted that done. Are sure about them doing that?
