RCI really sucked this AM

After going on line and searching I found a week I like and proceed to reserve it on line. After everything was done I pushed the reserve it button and got an internal server error message. So I called RCI and got airhead#1 who takes all the information and then tells me she has to transfer me to someoner else. Airhead # 2 picks up the phone and proceeds to get all the information again, then says she has to transfer to someone else. About this time my voice is hitting earache level. Finally I get # 3 who is actually capable of processing an exchange and does it. This was my first encounter with unacceptable VGs in the decade I've dealt with RCI.

The only thing that surprises me is hearing that this is the first time something like this has happened to you. And you are lucky, at least you ended up with what you wanted... it doesn't always go that way!

They have been pretty good at sending the confirmations. Of course, giving them the correct address helps a bit.

We reserve judgment until we have actually arrived and taken the key to use the unit....oops...not even then, it seems, can you be sure that RCI has actually given you the unit to use...hint, don't answer the phone in the unit.

I know, it's so ridiculous and tragic that it's almost funny.

First thing we do after we check into our unit is unplug the phones. We only use our cell phones for personal calls and we don't take timeshare tours so we don't want to constantly be bugged by people in the office.

They screwed up again !

Well I decided tyo go on line and check to see if everything looked OK and they confirmed me into a smaller unit ! On the phone again. I guess my good luck with RCI ran out this week.
