In RCI Weeks, in the last five years do you feel that your Trading Power has gone up, remained the same, or gone down?

I am asking about your deposit's ability to see everything that is available, regardless of whether there is as much available or not.

    Sorry.

    Never mind.

I did not realize there is an issue with the poll feature.

It's not working but it is sorta working. I can get the results at the end. Right now #3 has a commanding lead.

In that case, if Frank can see the results, let's keep it going awhile. It will be a secret ballot.

Then he can tell us the results.

I'll run OY and post a link.

I'd vote but I don't exchange through RCI.

I guess Bigfrank can see the results, so we will vote for awhile and then have him tell us. That is good, really, because discussions concern how the vote is going will not influence new votes.

                  Jim

I think you are asking the wrong question

My trade power is the same - I still see everyting out there BUT there is much much less out there to see

Like RCI, I try to keep folks confused.

I actually thought about what you are saying, to try to ask the right question, because I want the answer to be about reduced trading power, not about reduced availability. I was trying to make that clear by my second sentence--ability to see everything regardless of what that entails.

I am really asking for those who do enough searches on their own to know what is normally available, and then with the deposit of the same week for a later year to be able to know that there definitely was a decline in that deposit.

I know you know what I know so I know you know what I meant , but folks not as anal (as me, not you) may not notice trading power difference from year to year, and just blame it on reduced availability.

Sometimes both factors are at work . . . and perhaps the conspiracy theorists would surmise that by reducing trading power there would be fewer matches for better resorts, making them available for rentals at much higher prices. If Weeks members would become content with lesser resorts than they are accustomed to, then the better resorts could go over to high-end rentals.

But I did not theorize that.
