That doesn't sound good. I'd call them....even though we all hate speaking to them. Make sure they reinstate your search with the date you started it.

Check out the beautiful beach scene, with prominent starfish (hugely overscaled, but not shocking that they don't pay for a decent art director) , running under the "we f'd up" message on the home page...

I just got lied to by RCI web support. If you call them, there is now an option to choose if you are having difficulties with rci.com. I don't know if that is new since it's been so long since I called them. I told them about my week re-appearing as available to be exchanged. I was told that my search was fine, no problem, but just to be sure what were you searching for... I gave a general description, week 52 2008 and three weeks in August 2008. I was assured that my search was always in place, just a web site glitch....I logged on again and voila, my search has returned.....the dates of the search are slightly different, though. The RCI rep re-instituted it based on my inexact description. They did verify the start date of the search so maybe it was reset correctly but I'll never know.

When I called yesterday to check, I made them read me the search without telling them what it was just to test them. As of yesterday, they still had it. But my weeks aren't showing back up in "available weeks," at least not yet.

This one is pretty bad, even for RCI.

My ongoing search was back up today, everything just as it had been.

              Well I'm a happy punter

My ongoing search has reappeared but I can now use it to search myself!! It was a search for multiple timeshares over multiple periods and so had to be set up by a guide and I had to ring every time I wanted to check something. Now I can modify it and use it search! I'm happy
