  • RCI question

If you have a fixed week in your account, not deposited but showing as available for deposit--at some point it disappears on its own, right?

I have a fixed week starting 7/28/2007 that was showing as available for deposit until a few days ago. Then it disappeared, which was fine, because I'm going to be using it myself. I thought that when you got up to 10 or 15 days before the start of the week, it was no longer possible to deposit the week.

Then tonight I got an e-mail from RCI saying, "Your week is ready to deposit!"

"They must mean my 2009 week!" I thought to myself. "They must let you deposit slightly more than two years out!" But no--the e-mail mentioned my 7/28/2007 week.

    So what's up with this?

My understanding is that you can only deposit your RCI week up to 15 days in advance of the check in date ... it's probably just a snafu in their computer system.

It does disappear after the time for deposit has pasted. With RCI I believe it is 15 days prior to check in.

Yes, the email was for the new week, not the current week.

        Ask RCI

I just read now that Madge will no longer be answering the questions. Here is the link and it is post #11. It hasn't been verified yet by a moderator, I better add to this post.
