Was wondering if anyone would know what I should expect to pay in fees from rci in the event I were to buy an rci points timeshare resale. I have seen in some of the ads that there is a rci transfer fee(seperate from fee paid to resort to transfer) Some want repayment of rci dues for the year. Does rci discount the fees for someone who already has a weeks acount. We have almost four year paid for on our weeks membership right now. I know the annual fee for points is more than weeks. What would I be looking at with the seller wanting to transfer the timeshare including their acompaning rci point account and also with them transfering the timeshare without them including their rci points account(if that is even possible)

According to this link, the Membership Transfer fee is $100 US. Any points remaining in the account from previous years may be another $49 but they may include that in the $100 fee for the membership transfer.
The yearly fee is $124. Whatever balance is left for the remaining years of your weeks account membership will be applied to your points account membership if you ask them to do so. Or they will refund that amount. When you pay for a points account your weeks account is free as long as you are a points member. Just ask them to link your old weeks account with your new points account.
