About this time each year I see a surge in RCI weeks deposits. People have paid their MFs and some gems show up. I have a hunch that this Sunday afer maintenance could be very interesting.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night as we had plans which took us away. So was there the plethora of new deposits that you were expecting to see or need to keep looking because there should be more to come? I'm not at all familiar with the search areas so reviewing the results this morning, I'm not sure if the "good" resorts are there.

Sorry I missed this as I was really sick the past 3-weeks (shit head - that would be me - managed to get pneumonia because of no sleep). I would like to work with you to create a script to automate the trade test process.

I am still sick (I've been sick since before Christmas) so I can't work on it now but if you can be so kind as to make a thread in the SR STAFF forums outlining the process of how you are compiling these I can try to write a script that would allow us to either do sceduled trade tests as a group or individual trade tests as a user would like.

As you know, I love to work with data and once I get the data I can try to find useful ways to use it. I just need an outline of the steps you go through to create the spreadsheet to get a fist draft of the script done and then we can improve it from there after ding a trade test.

Also, if you need a log from the chat server, let me know and I should be able to get it for you. Logs are only saved for a limited time so I need to know soon if you need it!

Ken I knew you haven't been well lately but pnuemonia is never fun. Hope you are beginning to feel better. and now you must watch going forward for bronchial issues.

Automating the trade tests would be a dream come true as even with the small sampling we have on this impromptu one it will take quite a few (wo)MAN hours to compile and place in an XL .

I will take notes on my process and post appropriately to let you know the data I need to make this usable.

Chat at 3am eastern was quite minimal so not a necessity.

Certainly not expected ASAP but it would be nice if we had the capability by summer this year.

Trade Test Frequency

Hello,

New to these forums & happened to see this thread...do trade test experiments happen often? Just curious...aside from the practical uses, it does seem like "winning" with whatever you have is part of the fun

...Count me in, I think I finally got some stuff straightened out with FF/Wyndham. At least I have some deposits to search with again although I am not real happy with what they are bringing up.

I'll presume that you have some fixed FF/Wyndham weeks that needed to get squared away before you could search online on RCI. This might be more of a Wyndham question, but are visible weeks...

1) still available when banking with FF points?

2) any better traders now than they have been in the past?

1) yes

2) hard to say. A lot is depended on what they give out (when they deposit the week, and what week it actually is). Since there is no way for us to know the total quality of the visible week, so it can not be compare. And it is very hard to say how FF deposit visible week to RCI and how they balance out each other. If you got it at this moment, I will tend to believe this is on the scheduled RCI FF exchange, so you will have good chance to get a good one.
