      Thank you !!!

I've shopped for any package stays there, too. Wide variances.

I'd even trade the Allen House (RCI always jumps me for this unit) as it would be a great trade for me.

Am going OY to see what Bill has posted re: Ginn.

      Thanks !

Ginn Reunion Resort is on Skyauction, reserve hidden

I can't cut and paste the link for some reason, but do a keyword search on "Ginn" and it'll come up

3 people bid on the resort and it doesn't look like they won a night..they all say 0 of 1 under the heading of quanity.

The hidden reserve is unusual for Skyauction, and it may well be the same inventory as Rental Condominiums International. Still worth a try as their rates are usually lower.

                Reunion Resort By Ginn

                Reunion Resort By Ginn

I had a hold on three weeks in a 5 Bedroom Pool House at
Reunion Resort By Ginn, near Walt Disney World in Orlando
                (for January 2008)

There was a problem when I went to confirm and
was unable to get the weeks for the quoted rate

Someone on Tug was able to get the discounted rate
The resort charges a huge daily fee to heat the pool

                  Marti,
So was this an "Extra Vacation" rental and not an exchange ?
This is standard M.O. for RCI.
                  Thanks,
                  B

I don't think any of those units are interval ownership. I believe they are whole-ownership, but Ginn uses RCI as a rental outlet (possibly for the owners rental program, or possibly for spec home inventory). After all, timeshare owners aren't too far from fractional/whole ownership, so they may be an easier market to sell into.

I agree with bnoble. They are not TS.
In the past on different boards, I have seen people get a week there through RCI trade, last call, etc. Usually they said RCI said it was a mistake, and would not confirm. However, a few were successful in getting RCI to honor the reservation. Not sure where or when I saw this, but within the past year or two (could have been on TUG or Wyndham).
We looked at property there when they were first breaking ground, and each year for a few after that. My husband has golfed there a few times, and said it is one of the nicect courses he has ever played.

                        Marge,
Thanks for the golf course info. They photograph nicely. Did he play at Reunion or the Hammocks ?
I think that I'll just find the best rate I can at some point and book reservations. Would be nice to get a trade in, though.

Would they put it in the resort directory then?

I found them in the online directory. Haven't checked the hard copy book itself.
                            Resort #s A414 & A415.

This could be a "bait & switch" argument. Hmmmm.

                            Thanks,
                            B

They're not in the hard copy book, under Ginn or the name of the resort. So I guess they aren't for exchange!?
