I was one of the tuggers who got the great deal from rci extra vacation. I secured a 4 bed. 3 1/2 bath house for new year's week 2007/08 for $650. I managed to talk to a supervisor who guaranteed me at that rate. The house was beautiful but it cost $50/day to heat the pool/hot tub. Everything costs$$ bbq at house $60, bikes $20/day/person. When we arrived and checked in we went to pool area where there were no towels or chairs. Felt like i was at the public pool sitting on the grass. Not impressed if we had spent $2500 for the week. We probably would never had stayed there since our budget doesn't allow for all the "extra's Ginn has but for $650 we couldn't pass it up. The weather didn't co-operate very much with us so we didn't really spend alot of time around the resort enjoying the pool...did do alot of shopping!

      Beaglemom,
He played Reunion, and would again any time he could!
FYI all of those added fees aren't just for the condo owners! The fees for living there and golf etc, were very high. There were extra fees for everything. Although you could have unlimited golf, you could not own your own cart, and had to play using their rental (if I recall $35 per round, 2005). DH actually prefers to walk when possible, but that was not an option.
