While reading the fine print... Did you know there are resorts with only 1-100 members? And resorts with zero units?????
    How can this be??

Off hand I can think of a couple of low member resorts, both in New Orleans. Bonaparte's Quarters has three units I think (or maybe four) and Cortyards has four units. So that makes about 150 members at one, and 200 or so at the other, except that not all members necessarily belong to RCI. And there are other resorts like this.

I own a resort in Dillard/Sky valley GA that has a total of 6 units. Each unit is located in a colder-sac and is hanging over a mountain in the middle of no where. There is no amenities at the units other than a BBQ. You can use the amenities at Sky Valley resorts which is about 2 miles away.

Dual affiliated Resorts such as the Royal Mayan and Club International have more II members than RCI. Another cause could be that owners let their RCI membership lapse due to dissatisfaction with RCI, the resort or timesharing in general. Those who go to their home resort every year don't need to spend more money for an RCI membership.
