  • Poll which RCI call center did you get?

I never could get a straight answer out of Madge on this. I used to do network design for a living. Calls are routed to different centers at different days and different times.

I think it would prove useful if we could get a feel for the parameters. If I KNOW calling during the week in the afternoon is going to send me to the Philipines then I won't call then. If I know calling on a Saturday morning will route me to Toronto. Then if possible my call will be made Saturday morning. Get it?

So when each of you calls, let us know what day, what time of day and what center you got. It is difficult to set up the poll to reflect the possibilities. So I will just put one up for each center and if you would please respond with day/time/center in a post should cover it.

I have put up the 4 I'm aware of. Ireland no longer gets NA calls and rumor has it they are being shut down and a south african center will replace them.

I usually get New Brunswick (if they're still there) in the past. So, I can't do the poll, sorry. Oh, yes I can - I did get Indianapolis a couple times. The New Brunswick guy did give me the Crane (grateful !!).

It might be routed in a more fine-grained way...

very possiblly, there is area code routing, overflow scenarios, etc that could be in the mix, but we won't know until we get a sampling to work with

          Lawren,
Do you think it might be a good idea to get what part of the country they are calling from?
          Also what country itself?
Maybe we could have a template such as:

          Day Called:
          Time called:
          Area code called from:

I'm trying to think about the best way to do this... a sticky do you think?
We would need at least that much information to get our arms around this.

I think a sticky would work...too bad we couldn't put in a spreadsheet with drop downs. then the data sort would be easy.

If you want to throw one together quickly, we can attach xls ... I think we can leave it unprotected so each reponse can put in their own data.

                Gotta run for now.

I have attached a spreadsheet to help facilitate tracking of the data we need to capture a time/day/regional stamp when calling RCI.

If all of you would be so kind as to complete the spreadsheet when voting it would help.
All the columns have drop down boxes, so you could just click on them.

Unfortunately, I can't help, as I have to use the FairShare Plus dedicated office. Shorter hours, but US-based.

                          Any more feedback?

Hey I just saw this thread. I have started a spreadsheet. Has anyone else kept track?

The Philippines has only sporadically done what I have requested.

Mexico City is usually the best.

I have not dialed into Ireland or Canada for some time. They used to be real good.

Indiana has helped maybe once in 50 times.
