RCI & Orbitz

I went to a timeshare presentation this past weekend for Wyndham and the sales guy told me RCI owns Orbitz, Hertz and I think the other one was Alamo...I didn't realize they did....
Does anyone know if this is true?

And as BF really meant to say, FALSE. Cendant is the parent corporation and RCI 'owns' none of that, RCI is owned by Cendant as are all those.

and it is Avis and Budget that are Cendant owned. Having had to work on the international applications personally in my past life.

I know how you feel Spence, but we were bored...it killed 90 minutes.

HMM, guess the guy was wrong about some things....he also said that Wyndham owned RCI..I thought it was Cendant, but really didn't care much to debate the point.
I am surprised about Orbitz though...
