  • When do I get access to RCI exchange opportunities?

I've been a posting fiend today and got to my 30 posts! How long before I can get access to the coveted RCI exchange board?

Give it 15 minutes to a half hour...

          Edie,

Good for you but you need a deposit in the bank or you still cannot take advantage of the exchange opportunities. I know this all too well with RCI.

II lets you search without a deposit first which I find a big plus.

To which I will make my standard reply, standard for the last 15 years or so.

If your deposit to RCI is unlikely to match to an ongoing search, once it has been confirmed by your resort, you can do the searches you want, and if you don't like what you see, you can get your deposit back.

You can even get it back when it does match to an ongoing search in some instances.

The problem with II's Request First is that if many/most/all did it, whattya see?

Nothing, cuz few/no one has deposited anything.

Or, as one well-placed person called, a failed system.
