I had a call today from RCI. They wanted to know if I wanted to stop my Key West search and search for other areas in Fla....... NO .....
I can hardly wait to see that the Big Change is going to be....

I am pretty sure that the Big Change is going to be causing wide mood swings, unexplained crying, and a few near homicidal episodes.

But then again, it could mean that RCI has "improved" their inventory... to include trading into group oriented housing, like dorms, where you share the bedrooms with strangers, and all traders get to use the co-ed bathroom.

Even though my membership has expired, I'm still able to log into my account. Go figure.

It appears that there is a new search capability. There is an automated demo on the site now. That must be the "something big".

If the Something Big is that search that they are demoing, "What a crock of s...". That search improves how you can look thru their rentals, "the ones they steal from the trade inventory and then put back in "Extra Vacations" when they can't get them rented in their other outlets. The funniest line in the demo is "We listened to what you have been requesting"!!! Hey RCI if you have been listening to what we have been saying and want to make things better put back the inventory that you have been stealing from your members!!!!!!

I also think we might be able to exhange our weeks for other things, like car washes (with wax!) and greeting cards.

Well they are in there screwing around with the drop down lists. Yellowstone is no where to be found this morning.

If they make me take even longer to search through what I do each morning that we will have to give up something...

OMG, say it aint so. It's hard to believe that RCI could accually make it more difficult to do searches.

OMG, say it aint so. It's hard to believe that RCI could accually make it more difficult to do searches.

Sometimes, rarely, they make it a bit easier on me.

I'd be thrilled if they alphabetized Points the way Weeks is but I'm not holding out much hope. Unfortunately they aren't thinking about someone who's search pattern will pull up more than 150 resorts at a clip and has to scroll through each one.

I can't understand what people have to be afraid of. It never ceases to amaze me how many people complain about RCI but continue to use them. There are alternatives. I dropped RCI 15 years ago when it was obvious that they were not what I wanted. If you are not happy with RCI. then the easy solution is to go elsewhere.
