I've had multiple problems with communication from RCI. Just wondering who else might have had similar problems, and wanting to vent a bit.
I posted over on TUG about my problems with getting an already-spacebanked-in-weeks week put into points via PFD. In addition,
in the last two weeks they've canceled a week on hold without telling me (they claim it was the resort that pulled it, which may be true, but I have my doubts) and have mangled another PFD week.
In this latest one, they sent me a spacebank rejection letter, mislisting the week at CMV that I was depositing. Actually, they listed two weeks, one right, and one wrong, and gave the 800 number for the weeks side of RCI. When I called, they told me to call points. When I called points, she told me that she didn't know why I had gotten the call, because my week had been deposited. But, the point total she told me didn't include it. So, I called again after checking my records and this time the VC told me that the week had been verified and turned over to the points folks, and it would take 7 to 10 days to show up (which I already knew; she seemed determined to interpret my questions as impatience for the points to show up, not a questioning of why I had been told three different things by RCI about this week).
So, I'm holding my breath that this is actually going to work, because if it doesn't, I'm hosed (too late to initiate another PFD).
