In light of the recent discussions (the recent two or three years ), and since I just deposited two weeks on-line, here is the disclaimer when you do that:

DISCLAIMER: When you deposit your Vacation Week(s) with RCI, you warrant that you have paid, or will pay when due, all maintenance fees and other assessments with respect to the deposited Week, that you are legally entitled to deposit this Week, and that you have not committed and will not commit this unit and Week to any use, other than to RCI. As an RCI Weeks Member, you are subject to the Terms and Conditions of RCI Weeks Membership and the rules and procedures set forth in the current edition of the RCI Directory of Resorts, and agree that such terms and conditions shall govern this deposit and any subsequent exchange request(s).

We didn't get a directory last year or this year either. I am still waiting but since we do not deposit, they may skip us.

However, RCI has covered themselves with this disclaimer if you click "I Accept", I would think.

As you notice, I did not play Perry Mason. I just posted the information.

I suspect there are a lot of issues the real Perry Masons will deal with. For many, despite the rhetoric of some on Internet forums, there really is no alternative to RCI. So you almost get into a monopolistic situation.

From the drift of the investigators and the law firm(s), there appears to be an issue with what members were told, or led to believe, versus how things really are.

If I had to pinpoint my gripe, that would be it m/l.

Then it would be left to be determined who shares what amount of responsibility for what people were led to believe.

Gotta run. Mickey Gilley's season opener tonight. Sure beats sitting at home and watching March Madness.

A little bit of detail that those rules say they can rent out your weeks would be helpful, but, hey we never expected them to be that open and honest, now did we????????????????
