I recently purchased a resale Morritt's Seaside unit in Grand Cayman. This resort is affiliated with RCI. My other resorts are II affiliated or have dual affiliation. I have read several posts either here or on TUG, stating that some people felt dissatisfied with RCI. I am wondering if am I better off using RCI for trades or one of the independant companies? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

For the most part, because Morritts does bulk spacebank with RCI, there is not very good trade power alloted to individual Morritts week deposited.
There are other better ways to get what you want for specific areas than RCI.Lawren

Any resort that bulkbanks like Morritts substantially devalues what trading power its members would otherwise have had in RCI. I remember Bootleg's comments about how much the trading power of Manhattan Club dropped when it started bulkbanking. That is also when SA weeks started to be able to pick up MC.
I don't belive SFX takes Morritts, but I would try HTSE or DAE.

TPI would also take it.
But in order for the OP to be happy they should focus on where they want to trade to and use a company that gets reliable inventory there.Lawren

Agree 100%. In my case, I really am not satisfied with RCI, mostly due to rude or incompetent VCs and the continuing rise in fees. But I grit my teeth and stick with them, for now, as the resorts I regularly exchange to are only affiliated with RCI. So yes, it depends on where you would mostly want to trade.
