I have 2 on-going search with RCI. One is Wk 27 Patriot Place deposit in like 2 month before the trip day. One is Wyndham generic 105k
It is June 15, 2009 to Aug 15, 2009 on Hawaii.
Few days ago, I saw the sighting on Hawaii, when I checked, I did not have any hold with my real week deposit. (Can do nothing with generic search, since once it is on-going, it is gone).
I play with the real week, and dis see the match.
Since it is at the island I decide not to visit, I have to let it go, and I wait a few days to call RCI to change my generic search criteria to only 2 island in Hawaii.
There is no match found. In a way I was relief that they did not hold anything without telling me and I now have to fight to waive the charge. However, I found it strange that I always though they will do a match with on-going search request first, than throw it open. So there is really no reason that if my real week doing search can see the week, but on-going search will not return the result.
Both are 1 BD match 2 BD.
Does the simialr experience happens to you also? Or it just a RCI glitch?
Thanks
