What About RCI's Ever Increasing Fees?

What do you think the Exchange Fee will be in 10 years?

Does anyone know what the Exchange Fee was 10 years ago?

What do you think is the Exchange Fee that will force owners to rethink the idea of exchanging? I think the range of $180 to $200

Because the Rental Fees can be less than the cost of the total of the MF and the Exchange Fees, and I believe that with the increase of MFs, some RCI members are already rethinking the value of exchanging with RCI and keeping their RCI membership.

Huh!?

My new credit card file shows I bought an exchange 9/2/00 for $124. FWIW, we already had RCI Rewards then.

I paid a maintenance fee to make that deposit to make that exchange and it was $240.12.

I recall we did a Bonus Vacation in January 1990, and it was $99. That was the going rate and there were no Last Calls. Now that I look at the records, we paid $54 for that, but the going rate was $99.

Seems like for 20 years ago the figure $49 comes to mind.

Going to another file, our 1993 maintenance fee was $184.47.

Yet another file, on 3/9/94 I paid RCI $189 for 3 years.

Ten years ago, in '98, we went to Apple Valley (Ohio), Fairfield Bay (AR), Lehigh Acres (FL), Westgate, and The Golden Eagle (Estes Park).

3/31/98, I paid $103 for Estes Park.

4/29/99 I paid $118 for Kauai.

Does anyone know what the Exchange Fee was 10 years ago?
