RCI Promotion - 35th Anniversary - Code 7407

This promo is not all it appears to be, especially for me.

We received the nice little brocure in the mail and logged onto RCI and picked a place not too far away (5 hours drive) for an Extra Vacation Getaway during May.

When we called the number we discovered that the closest places available were in Florida, Utah or Arruba, hardly drivable from Texas.

If you live on the east coast or in Florida it might be OK but the agent we spoke to found only available accomidations with this offer in Utah, Florida and along the east coast.

Quite a disappointment.

I found it wasn't all it appeared to be too. I found an EV in florida that I wanted. I called and was told it only applied to certain resorts. I wasn't too happy. But, I'm not surprised that it wasn't as it appeared to be!

Got the invitation in the mail today and while I'm fixed for Memorial Day weekend or the week if we decide to stay longer, I thought I'd look around in mid May..

Glad to know it is probably a waste of time before doing so.
