  • RCI: March Reminder - Use it or Lose it

If you have a deposit that is going to expire
the end of March be sure to use it or lose it.

    Clueless

Okay, I give up....what is the point of this post? Who are you addressing this to? We all know that our deposits have an expiration date....can you give me some idea of why this particular month was important to post this?

OK, so WHO has a deposit expiring in March, or was this just a general reminder that deposits expire???

Perhaps something to do with the March Hare...
              Or March Madness...

The Internet gives us another useful tool:

                Online Reminders

It's happened to all of us. You're in the middle of a task when a thought in the back of your mind begins to nag at you. You were supposed to take care of something important but you just can't figure out what it was. And the story always seems to end in one of two ways. You either remember after it's too late to do anything about it or you find out what it was when someone
else scolds you for forgetting your responsibilities.

For those (here) that are perfect and do not need an online reminder
please disregard this message. For the members/guests that appreciated
this reminder - I hope I was able to help them from losing their week.

Excuse me, but does this mean that you are using the board to make notes to yourself?

I don't claim to be perfect, so please forget that reference...I had a legitimate question to your post.....since it is clearly not news to folks that a deposit has an expiration date...I don't understand why the thread was started at all, expecially with the specific notation about March. It just didn't make sense to me....and I guess that is why I am not perfect.

I understood the rational behind your post.

The OP has indicated elsewhere on the board that she uses this bulletin board as her 'personal notepad' as oppose to keeping her own information private on her computer or use an online site specifically for this ....

Her intent was not to help others but to remind HERSELF that SHE has a deposit that will expire at the end of March.

If she intended to help others/everyone here, she would have been posting this reminder every month.

This is the first time she has posted a 'reminder' about her deposit she might lose.

My intent is not to disparage the OP but to point out the obvious - this is a reminder to herself - it has nothing to do with or benefit anyone else.
