  • Credit Balance In Your RCI Account

    email to feedback:

First, an old issue . . . when are credit balances in our accounts going to be shown in our accounts online?

    "Opening Exchange Balance - $0.00" (I have $150.)

Two, also an old issue . . . when are we going to be able to use credit balances for online transactions?

Three . . . Although I do transactions online, I understand that the exchange fee is higher if you call a Guide. Does that mean I would have to pay the higher fee if I called in to use my credit balance to pay for an exchange?

    Thanks

Wow, JLB....RCI has not shown your credit balance? I have had one for about 6 months now, and it shows....what really bugs me is that there is no way to get the refund online....and they don't let you use the credit for a new request, should you want to start one.....just another reason RCI ticks me off.
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

I had to call a Guide to check on a unit number, so I asked him #3.

He said if you put it on Hold online you pay the lower fee, $164.

He did not say it, but I will add that if you still do not have to give money to put something on Hold online, that is how you could use a credit balance for online transactions, by putting it on Hold and calling a Guide.

I'm having quite a different problem with money and RCI these days. All of a sudden I am getting hit with credit card charges for exchanges that I did as far back as July and as recently as January. No notification just BAM debits to various accounts.

Apparently I am not alone as their is a team working on these issues.

My problem is two of the accounts were closed in the interim and I'm having a devil of a time checking to make sure I wasn't billed for them in the first place and am now being billed again.

I'd rather have an issue with credits.

          Hello,

Currently, Member Reward Dollars (from the MasterCard Elite reward
program) are not accessible online. To use the credit please call us at
800-338-7777. We don't yet have an expected date of if/when this will
          become available online.

The Vacation Guide should be able to give the online booking rate (only
if you are attempting to use the Member Reward Dollars).

          Kind Regards,
