    3 year window

How do you get a 3 year window? I thought you could only request/search 24 month from today. Where does the other year come from?

The year prior to checkin is the third (or really the first) year. So if you deposit a July 2010 week now, you can search from July 2009 through July 2012.

        Pat,

I have a similar quandary with respect to a VRI week. I think it's going to trade better overall in II, but I might want that VRI preference. Need to decide pretty soon...

Grayfal, is that a red week? If it is, then VRI*ety might be a good option for using it in the future.

By the way, the number of units you're seeing -- is that with a one-bedroom deposit, or a two-bedroom?

That barking DAWG is a 1BR week 17 - white with RCI and VRI, RED with II .
BTW, I also own a week 14 which is yellow? with II and it trades the same as the 17 with II - which is GREAT!

I am trying to decipher if VRI allows u to pay a season upgrade fee when making a request ahead of time - say one year out - I guess if I want to know, I will have to speak to a human

I have been told by someone who has used the VRI preference in RCI that u can/do get the VRI preferencefor all seasons...so that could be to my advantage for SoCal and San Fran.

I laughed so hard when I read this post, "barking DAWG" was great.
