Got an exchange into the Grand Mayan in about six months. Have read many of the threads regarding them downgrading you into the Mayan Palace at the last minute. Should I be worried?

Also, what would be you next choice for an exchange company and why?

Going to GM-NV on the 30th assuming Swine flu doesn't overtake the world. I'll let you know if I have any problems.

It all depends on what the occupancy is- so if it's before Xmas you should be OK, unless they somehow manage a lot of rentals.

This was happening when I made a visit in February 2006 - bigfrank was affected but I was not.
The resort group obviously had issues with over-booking.

I have not seen recent (more than 2 years?) posts regarding this - have you?.
