I have been getting the start page off and on and just now got as far as starting a search, far enough to see how many exchanges each deposit will get.

My best trader was at 143000, down from 165000 before the maintenance.

Something really screwed up about that, that better get straightened out.

There was my crappy trader and then there was a new category called All Deposits, and it showed 148000, whatever in the heck that means.

I want to deposit three more 2010 weeks, but I'm sure not going to risk doing it while everything is so screwed up.

I could not get it to do a search.

Would it make sense that the tiger traders are seeing a drop in pulled units becasue RCI pulled even more better/best weeks out of inventory during the maintenance and put them into the rental pool?

That seems a little too obvious, doesn't it?

But, since the class-action lawsuit folks have legitimized rentals, I guess RCI is free to do whatever they want with deposits.

I will be interested in their explanation if it is not a glitch, although I am fully expecting to see them return.

Oh yeah, I can't even get the start page now. It's sorta like divining spirits, or the first televisions, things that come in and out.

Of course, the first TVs were way before my time.

I'm in but it is like watching paint dry and I'm not sure how long I can tolerate it.

The rentals are in there. Mostly places that were never available for exchange but there are rentals of resorts as well. I guess people who want to go to Morritts don't have to worry about the 1-in-4 rule anymore because they can buy when they can't exchange but I'm not seeing high season in rentals. I am seeing high season exchanges.

I have not tried to call, but is the entire system down, or only the website. If I call, will a VC be able to search for me?

                    Great Exchanage

By being very persistant, I got a great exchange. This was not available before the upgrade (downgrade) or whatever.

I answered my own question! I finally got onto the website, and I had a unit on hold for HHI this 7/4. I have been waiting for this availability for some time. However, the website did not give me the option of viewing any information about the resort. I called RCI instead of confirming online. I was afraid to trust the website.

I got in once about 1/2 hour ago but like Lawren said it was like watching paint dry, slow beyond belief. But then, if you take their default or even say just exchange you are searching on all your deposits and that "has" to take a bit longer.
Their new default that "searches" for exchanges, EV and LC is rediculous. They list the option as if your deposit is used in searching EV and LC. What a joke to pass this off as an "inhancement" for our "benefit".
Also when I did get in my trade values for my deposits were all screwed up (ie my lowly blue studio was drawing better than my red 1BR)
They should be terribly ashamed, but, unfortunately we know they are not!!
Oh yeah, now I can't get back in!!!

I got an appreciated headsup from L, but they saw me coming, and left before I got there.

The RCI site reminds me of the "good old days" of timeshared computing---they always run faster at night. It was relatively responsive at 6:30 this morning. It got progressively worse as the morning went on, and had completely melted by 9:30 or so.

I had 2 units banked with the same check in date at same resort. So they are exactly alike. One had about 10,000 more units available than the other.

Were they deposited at the same time?
