I'm thinking there isn't enough bubble gum and paper clips to keep that old system up at this point. (Don't laugh people when I first started at N Y Telephone I was in the central office down in the basement of the New York Stock Exchange and there were indeed paper clips in that old crossbar machine.)

I still find it unfathomable that they didn't back down last weekend and reschedule for a future date.

So now I just sit back and watch in open mouthed horror as this trainwreck completes it 5th full business day.

It really is stunningly incompetent. I wonder how much money they are losing by not consummating exchanges/rentals. Presumably, the exchanges will still happen, but someone looking to rent will just go find a web site that works.

When I think of how amazingly miniscule RCI's resort database is relative to something like eBay's database, I am always stunned that it's so hard to maintain. Furthermore, even when the website works it's a steaming POS. They need to recruit some high schoolers to their IT dept.

The only way I can see is to click on the Additional Deposits link. The two that made it are showing 25000 more availability than previously, and now the other deposits I already had in there are just spinning.
While I am waiting for RCI to load, I'll ask this . . . Is there a limit to the number of deposits listed on the Exchange page . . . say four, so that if you have more you have to click on the Additional Deposits link to see them?

I can't recall that we have ever had more than four deposited at the same time, so until today that is not something that was an issue.

We now have four I see, and one more when I click that link. Right now three are spinning and two show numbers, but the numbers are still out of whack.

Do keep in mind that ebay does not run off a mainframe.

I believe it is three deposits + the all deposit is all that shows initially. At least that's the case with our accounts. To see our other ones, you need to click the "additional deposit"

Mine switched to that also, showing three and clicking to see the rest.
