    Out also

I can't get in either. I was in late yesterday afternoon and saw some really nice stuff available. I was only looking for this month, but what was there was good (only not what I needed).

Very frustrating as I'm looking for check-in this weekend and by the time I finally get in, it will be too late.

As of now (7:23AM) I can't get in at all, getting the "Due to internal error...." message. At least they know it is an internal error and are not trying to shift the blame back to being my fault!! lol
This is just so frustrating and to those of us that had or have carriers in IT it is ludicrous. It is hard to believe that anyone is that incompetant and keeps their job. Or... they aren't and this is just going as planned in their grand scheme to screw their users!!

RCI has finally achieved its objective, of getting rid of pesky "members" so that it can rent out ALL of our weeks as we're clearly not interested in reserving any of them....

How can there be heavy traffic at 7am EST??? Are there so many frustrated RCI members out there that they are up at ridiculous times trying to get an exchange? Oh yes, right, there are! In fact I think the number is 100% of RCI members...

Maybe it is heavy traffic from RCI's rental department transfering weeks to the rental inventory.

                I can get in...sort of

I can login now (like everyone else, I was getting the "internal error" message since 5pm Eastern yesterday). My trading power has again improved, slightly: now it's up to about 130k. But whenever I try to actually dig down to see the results for resort 2082 (Morritt's Tortuga), I get an error message "Your session has timed out." This is immediately after I've logged in, so by best guess is that their system is improperly recognizing the cookies they've set.

The upshot is I still can't do an apples-to-apples comparison to understand what I can see and what I can't.

How do you use it as a staging area when you are depositing it in the weeks side? Can you convert it to points after you deposit it into your weeks account? Is there a fee like just a straight conversion points deposit? What happens if you convert it to points after it's already after the 90 days required for full point value or is it 6 months? Do they penalize you for being less than 90 days?

                    Yes.

                    Yes, the same fee.

It follows the same schedule as a direct PFD, with the 90 day / 45 day / 30 day cutoff periods. That's why I need to PFD the two weeks this week, to have it be > 90 days and get my full points.

Silly question, but what is a PFD? Thanks for all your help so far, I'm learning alot.

Thanks Lawren. Now I know how they valued my week.

This morning one of my weeks which had tanked with the enhancements is back up to where it should be...let's hope it stays!

I've noticed higher exchanges on a couple myself but I really don't think they are done...there is still too much "missing". I know they should be there and they aren't.

I'm giving it another week before I throw in the towel and decide they have stolen things. Nearly a 2 year span and I see only 112 units in Hawaii? There are other less glaring examples but suffice it to say I feel it's not fully cooked yet.

                              JMHO of course.

The SA weeks I can search with have come back a little, not all the way back to where they were---there are some notable things missing. My deposits are also still just a little bit not-quite-as-good as some others to which they used to be identical.

But, everything is really consistent---it "makese sense" that some of these differences are what they are. It still feels like some of these changes are going to be for real.
