I realize some have been having problems confirming stuff they see, but I have not, probably cuz I can't see it.

I'd feel slightly better seeing it and not being able to confirm it than not seeing it at all.

I assure you that it is worse to see it and not be able to book it.

This morning I saw:

Gurney's Montauk check-in 31July
Tristam's Landing Nantucket check-in 17July
Harbor Hill in P'town check-in 17July
Isle of Palms SC check-in 26July
Celebrity Brigantine Beach check-in 24July

according to the rep I s/w at opening this morning none of them were available. and they are still showing up on a search.

That was the case with the last exchange I made, but it was because the website was screwed up, not because it was not available. A Guide did it . . . and it only took about three weeks and 5 or 6 emails to straighten out the payment.

I don't even really trust posting ex-ops at this point as who knows what is real and what isn't. The huge clue this morning was seeing about 200 more LMs than I have been seeing since we were "enhanced".

Now, my best trader, IPV, which used to see all DVC units doesn't show any 2 bedrooms, and even then only about 6 OKW units???

And just now, I was able to book a 1 bedroom VWL unit for January using my dud Kahana Falls week. This week I couldn't see at all with my used to be "Tiger" IPV.

I totally agree. Here is my best trader, better than the SBV I posted yesterday:

Compared to before the enhancement, these numbers are down 30,000, 5000 & 350!!!

That's beaucoup bucks if they have been taken out of the exchange system, and no one is offering up any explanation that that is not the case. I have given feedback several opportunities and have gotten only the normal gobbleygook back.

I was down to ~146k at 3AM when I went back in to try and grab one of those weeks that is tormenting me. Got all the way to the confirm page and nada.

I am now back up to ~152k today.

July 2009 shows 10 units in the middle atlantic region available for LM exchange but when I click it the system only shows 1 unit at 1 resort. I am showing 13 in New England area only 2 come up when you go in for detail.

So who knows what the "real" availability number is?

ETA that the number just plunged back down to ~146k.

What a worthless POS this enhancement is.

It seems they just solved that problem. They took away the numbers entirely!!!

That's just a glitch that occurs when you restart a search from getting one of those errors or when you restart. I'm not exactly sure how you do it but I've gotten it quite a few times. When I get that, I have to start over again by clearing everything.

It does that when you've searched all (LM, EV and EX) and then switch to just EX)

Anyway, as much uproar as many have made about lesser things, I can't believe there is not more being made about this. 10000-15000 deposits is a lot of money, and they all disappeared in one fell swoop, an open and public fell swoop with everyone watching.

& is that classaction hearing not scheduled soon?

I don't wish to post it, but if anyone would like to see my dialogue with RCI about the disappearing exchanges, drop me an email saying who you are, why you want it, etc. It is still not complete; I am awaiting a reply based on a promise to look into it shortly after the enhancement.
